The Hurdy Gurdy Concert Series presents a broad selection of the best in contemporary folk performers. Held at the Fair Lawn Community Center, 10-10 20th Street, Fair Lawn, NJ, the series offers great entertainment in a comfortable atmosphere at a reasonable price. All shows are at 8 pm. The Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club produces a series
of 10 concerts during each season, which runs from September through June.
Normally our concerts are held on the first Saturday of the month, and we
typically book nationally known touring artists as headliners. We
also book local talent and emerging artists for opening acts, for which pay a
flat fee for a 20 minute set. We are also experimenting
with a few co-bill shows during our season that will feature two emerging
artists performing one hour sets. As we only produce 10 shows each year,
there are only a handful of opportunities available.
